Vermillion Hill is a secluded 142-acre Colorado property built for privacy, flexibility, and unforgettable gatherings. Surrounded by open land and mountain views, the setting offers a rare mix of natural beauty and usable event space, making it ideal for filming, photos, private events, and multi-day experiences.
The property includes a warm, rustic-modern interior with a fully equipped kitchen, granite countertops, custom wood cabinetry, and an open living and dining area filled with natural light. Outside, guests have access to expansive fields, mature trees, two apple orchards, and a private lake that adds a visual backdrop of colors in every season.
What makes the property stand out is the sense of space. It’s private, quiet, and unhurried, with room to spread out, create, celebrate, or simply take in the landscape. Inspiring Conversations with Anson Mitchell
My father and family moved to Colorado in 1990 to escape the crime and dangers of Dallas and to relocate his financial services business, “Primerica Financial Services”, to Longmont, Colorado. Even though we lived in the suburbs outside the city, our homes had been broken into on three different occasions, and my father needed to find a safer place to raise a family. We settled in a tiny farmhouse built in the early 1900s, purchased from Alberta Clark, a generational farming family in the area.
